101 Easter Activities, Recipes and Crafts


1. dye Easter eggs, and you can get the recipes for several different natural dyes here

2. Easter Egg hunt - have an Easter egg in you house or backyard if weather permits, you can hide cadbury eggs, plastic eggs filled with treats or toys or mini chocolate eggs. As a child my parents would hide 100 mini chocolate Easter eggs - I don't think there was one year we found all 100. If you have different age children you can each have them find a certain colour Easter egg so one child doesn't find them all.

37.  fill Easter baskets for kids or spouses. Easter is at the start of spring so we always got summer clothes for Easter and often plastic pails and shovels and chalk and bubbles (on top of all the candy). 39. buy a pair of little bunny ears for photos of your little (or not so little) one, or you can crochet a cap and bunny tailed diaper cover or print out some photo props

49. Use the excuse to dress your children up as bunnies or put adorable bunny ears or fancy spring dresses or mini suits and take a million pictures. Or take them to the mall and have them get their picture with the Easter Bunny.

Egg Toss - an outdoor gamewhere you take a raw egg split into teams of two you start facing each other and hand the eg to your partners then take a step back and toss it to your partner and then they toss it back to you then you both take a step back and the last team standing wins

or Spoon Race - where you set a start line and finish line and have players try to cross the finish line while carrying an egg on their spoon.
